Amy Cotter is the Associate Director of Urban Programs at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. She works to expand and coordinate the Lincoln Institute’s global work in metropolitan and urbanized areas, with a particular focus on its goals related to climate change, sustainability, and spatial equality. Prior to the Lincoln Institute, Amy spent thirteen years with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council in Boston. There, she was a director responsible for development and strategic implementation of MetroFuture, the growth and preservation plan for a more sustainable and equitable metropolitan region. Amy has also held positions at the Tellus Institute and ICF Consulting; obtained Master’s degrees from the University of Michigan in Environmental Policy, and Urban and Regional Planning; and received her Bachelor’s degree from Tufts University.
