Tegin Teich

Senior Transportation Planner, City of Cambridge

Tegin Teich has been a transportation planner with the City of Cambridge for almost five years, and before that, spent six years working at a consulting firm on planning and design projects related to complete streets, bus rapid transit and other public transportation, and intelligent transportation systems. For Cambridge she manages the Community Development Department’s transit program, participates in regional coordination, and manages the community engagement and conceptual design processes for major street infrastructure projects. She led the grant application, planning, and implementation of the Barr Foundation and City-funded Mount Auburn Bus Priority Pilot, an inter-agency and multi-municipality effort to create the first dedicated bus lanes in the City of Cambridge and Town of Watertown. Tegin has lived in Boston for over 20 years and has Master’s degrees in Urban Planning and Transportation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
